New Orleans: Trent Kaiser attended the Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE) Annual Technology Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) in New Orleans from October 5 to 7. In addition to attending the technical sessions, he helped out at the Alberta Government booth, providing a presence for the Canadian Heavy Oil Association, and supporting his colleague, Earl Secord, from Volant Products. Compared with previous ATCE conferences, there has been a significant shift in interest from heavy oil to unconventional gas.
