Jarek Nowinka and Garret Meijer attended the API 2010 Exploration & Production Winter Standard Meeting in New Orleans, January 25–29, 2010. This meeting provided an excellent opportunity for Noetic to lend its unique skills in well completion structures and materials characterization to improve active design and testing standards as well as learn the needs of the oil and gas industry.
Noetic continues its activity in connection testing standardization by participating in the ISO 13679 Work Group which is updating the Standard 13679 – Procedures for testing casing and tubing connections.
Noetic has provided material characterization services to the Work Group on Collapse of Pipe with Rounded Stress-Strain Curves and Noetic is looking forward to contributing from our extensive experience in high temperature material characterization to the API work on High Temperature Performance Properties.
