2017 SPE Thermal Well Integrity and Design Symposium Nov. 28 - 30

Noetic’s team was excited to attend the 2017 SPE Thermal Well Integrity and Design Symposium from November 28th to 30th in Banff, Alberta. We always look forward to this excellent event as an opportunity to connect with the thermal well community and to participate in the collaborative symposium environment.

Highlights of Noetic’s technical contributions are provided below:

• Leading up to the symposium Trent Kaiser and Mark Chartier taught a one-day course on Fundamentals of Thermal Well Design on Monday November 27th. Click here for a link to the course description.

• Dan Shute (Volant) made a presentation on “Promoting Long-Term Tubular Integrity through a Holistic Approach to Casing Installation”.

• Dan Dall'Acqua made a presentation on “Verification of FEA Used in OCTG Connection Evaluations” to complement the corresponding technical paper, SPE 188158.

• Spencer Taubner made a presentation on “Multi-Timescale Workflow for Optimizing Installation and Integrity of Extended-Reach Horizontal Liners” to complement the corresponding technical paper, SPE 188148.
